At this time of year especially, we are aware that children’s
health varies from time to time but we ask that if they are unwell
to keep them at home. If you are in doubt please telephone us to
save you a journey here to then be sent home. The choice should be
yours based on the symptoms that present; not by asking the child
if they “want to go”. Please support us to reduce the illnesses
that circulate.
The Silent Auction, at the end of term, raised £150.00 and the
2nd phase will be available soon for your bids. This was organized
by a past parent and present Board member, Kathryn Parker; and we
are very grateful to her for her efforts
The Nativity, at the end of term, was very well supported by
families, and some DVDs are still available for purchase.
Please note that this terms topics are based around different
cultures, languages and foodstuffs. If you have any languages or
linked skills that you can offer, please let us know. There will
also be celebrations of the Chinese New Year, a pancake race in the
park on February 21st, St David’s day March 1st, St Piran’s day 5th
March, Mothering Sunday, and St Patrick's day and then Easter. A
busy term with added trips to the allotment as well. Please keep an
eye on the notice board for flyers.
“Open Door”. This may be your 1st term, 2nd term or you may have
been with us long term; if you have any queries or concerns then
please talk to us. If it is of a lengthy or confidential nature
then some warning would be advisable so we can find somewhere
else to go in the building.
And finally we would like to apologise for the lack of readiness
of the girl’s toilets this term. In an ideal world they would have
been completed before the start of term!
